Rosie’s at Crooklets Beach has a great reputation, serving locally sourced burgers and delicious salads. There’s also Widemouth Bay Café where you can get food all day, ranging from light snacks, to fish and chips or even just a quality coffee to enjoy whilst gazing at the waves.

Whilst exploring Bude during the day you may wish to stop off somewhere for a bite to eat. There are many great places to enjoy a light lunch, or even better, a traditional Cornish Cream Tea! Homemade scones, Cornish clotted cream and locally produced jam are a winning combination and a treat anyone on holiday in Cornwall must go out of their way to try. If you’re looking for pasty shops there’s Pengenna Pasties, Mr Grumpys and Tasty Pasties. A local tradition you simply must indulge in is a Cornish pasty.
