Gardens

Cornwall is full of beautiful gardens for the public to enjoy, the most famous being the Eden Project, which barely needs an introduction. There’s also the breathtaking Japanese Gardens, a place of tranquility with a variety of plants and water features and the Broomhill Sculpture Gardens which lie in one of the most glorious valleys in North Devon.

Zoos and Aquariums

The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth is a self-funded charity where you can discover a fascinating underwater world! The whole family will love journeying across the different oceans, witnessing fish you will never have heard of before. You will also get chance to see a variety of sharks, rays and Friday the turtle. Other popular places to visit include Paignton Zoo and Newquay Zoo which are both home to a fantastic variety of animals including lions, penguins, monkeys and crocodiles.

Cinema

Film fans will love being able to pop down to Bude’s very own cinema during your holiday. Either visit as a family or enjoy a date night for just the two of you. Rebel Cinema is a traditional style, independent cinema which shows all the latest big-screen releases. You can sit back and enjoy all the usual goodies such as popcorn, ice cream and sweets! The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating and there’s plenty of parking and disabled access.
